I founded KOB Magic to empower people and organizations to leverage storytelling as a tool for authentic connection, social impact, and community building. For writers curious about group workshops, and especially for my former students with the Iowa Summer Writing Festival, I am launching my own series of open-enrollment group workshops for 2026. All are welcome - enrollment is open to the public. My courses are designed to meet writers where they're at -- from seasoned pros to writers exploring new genres and formats.
